Elementals

Elementals, in the context of haunting and supernatural occurrences, are often described as nature spirits tied to the four elements: earth, air, fire, and water. These spirits can manifest in various ways, including poltergeist-like activity (objects moving, sounds, etc.), strange smells, and even physical manifestations. They are not always malevolent, but their behavior can be unpredictable and linked to the land's history and human actions. They are fundamentally tied to natural elements and the environment. Elementals can cause physical phenomena like moving objects, strange noises, and even fires or floods. Not all elementals are inherently evil; some may be perceived as good, bad, or even amoral, following a different set of "rules" than humans. Their behavior can be influenced by human sins, historical trauma, and emotional states, making them complex entities. In some traditions, elemental spirits can be summoned by shamans or other practitioners. Elementals are often associated with particular places, like haunted houses or areas with strong natural energies. Some elemental spirits are considered extremely powerful, particularly those associated with the death of natural formations like mountains or rivers. They can exist in other dimensions or as subtle energies, making their presence felt without always being seen. Some elementals are described as emotion-driven, their behavior tied to the emotions of those around them.
