Guests also reported strong smells of chocolate and menthol, and phantom cat-like figures running in the hallways. The house, located at 815 South Ash Street, is now a self-help center called the Turning Point. Mrs. White: The most prominent spirit, described as a woman who would sit and stare at guests with a glare. Guests would find themselves in bed with Siamese cats curled up next to them, purring. Cat-like figures were seen running through the hallways. A man was reportedly seen walking from the bathroom sink to the foot of a bed. Strong scents of baking chocolate and menthol cough medicine were also reported by guests. The Ivy House Inn is no longer operating as a bed and breakfast.
