The Huebner-Onion House, Leon Valley
The Huebner-Onion House is considered haunted, with reports of unexplained phenomena such as mysterious footsteps, pianos playing on their own, machinery noises, shattering plates, and phantom horse hooves. The paranormal activity allegedly intensified after the Onion family moved into the house in 1930, leading to phenomena like objects disappearing, apparitions, and sounds from empty rooms. The property is now a park, the Huebner-Onion Natural Area, which is closed to the public due to issues with amateur ghost hunters. People have reported hearing phantom footsteps, a piano playing on its own, machinery clicking, and the distinct sound of horse hooves clopping. Some witnesses have seen apparitions and shadows within the house and on the property, as well as orbs captured on camera. Plates have been reported to shatter, mirrors and pictures fall from walls, and objects have been known to disappear. Visitors have experienced cold spots and feelings of chills or a palpable presence on the property.
