The Dienger Building in Boerne, Texas, which formerly housed the Boerne Public Library, is reportedly haunted by the spirits of its original owners, Joseph and Ida Dienger. The building, now a boutique and bistro, has been the subject of paranormal activity and ghostly sightings for years. One of the most common sightings involves a ghostly woman on the staircase. Given that Joseph Dienger, his wife Ida, and their seven children lived on the building's second floor, it's believed the spirit could be Ida. Visitors and staff have reported hearing disembodied voices throughout the building. Some accounts suggest that the gentle, friendly spirits of the Diengers, who once used the building's second-floor meeting room for parties and club meetings, are displeased with the current sale of alcoholic beverages in the building.
