Bolton Mansion, Levittown
The Bolton Mansion (originally the Phineas Pemberton House) in Levittown, PA, is considered one of the area's most haunted locations, with reported paranormal activity including a ghost of a little girl on the second floor, a woman in white walking the property, and a ghost cat. The home has a rich history dating back to the late 17th century and has attracted paranormal investigators and enthusiasts for over 50 years. Phineas Pemberton purchased land and built the first house, known as "Grove Place," in 1683. By 1687, a second house called "Pemberton" or "Bolton" was completed, which is the structure known today as the Bolton Mansion. The house is considered one of the most significant historically and architecturally in Pennsylvania, with much of its nearly three-century-old structure still intact. Visitors and investigators have documented a sighting of a little girl who appears in the double windows on the second floor. A spectral figure of a woman in a white dress is said to walk the grounds of the property. A ghostly cat has been reportedly seen prowling the floors of the mansion.
