Moravian University in Bethlehem, PA is said to be haunted by several different spirits, including a Revolutionary War nurse and a young boy in the Brethren's House and a nurse in the Comenius Hall basement. Other reports include a female ghost called Alicia in the Alpha Sigma Tau house, and a "gray ghost" in the Brethren's House, in addition to general unexplained noises and the feeling of presences in various buildings. Brethren's House: This historic building served as a field hospital during the Revolutionary War, and is rumored to be haunted by a Revolutionary War nurse, a woman with bloody bandages, and a mobile spirit called the "gray ghost". Students have also reported hearing voices and other disembodied sounds in the area. Comenius Hall: The basement of this building is a known haunting hotspot. A nurse is said to haunt the basement, disliking intruders. A student once reported a projector screen flying into the ceiling on its own during a night class. Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority House: According to one tale, the ghost of a maid named Alicia haunts the house after she was thrown down the stairs by the owner for becoming pregnant. Her spirit is said to turn lights on and off in the attic and turn over pictures. Main Hall: This dormitory is reportedly haunted by a Revolutionary War nurse, a little girl, and a cat. One student reported their whiteboard calendar falling off the wall, and another reported being woken up by what felt like a slap from their hairbrush, which was leaning against their arm. Hearst Hall: This music building is home to the ghost of a young boy who is said to be a friendly spirit. A student once saw a shadowy figure looking at them from a stairwell, which then walked through the door and disappeared.
