Andy Gavin's Eatery and Pub in Scranton is rumored to be haunted by a mischievous and playful ghost named George. George is believed to be the spirit of George Calpin, who built the original building in 1903 as Calpin's Bar. Reports of paranormal activity have been shared by both staff and patrons, and include: George is known for teasing people by flickering lights, moving tables and chairs after hours, and sending glasses flying off shelves. The ghost supposedly enjoys using the restroom, as witnesses claim stall doors have locked on their own, followed by an unexplained flush. Some visitors have reported seeing George's ghost.
