Tyrrell Hall at the University of Tulsa is reportedly haunted by the spirit of a student or faculty member who plays a piano late at night, often heard in the stairwell connecting the ground floor and basement. This haunting is one of the most well-known paranormal accounts associated with the historic building, which is one of the three original structures on campus. The most common manifestation is the sound of a piano playing from an upper floor late in the evening or at night. The music is frequently reported to be heard in the central stairwell between the ground floor and the basement.
