One family reported that clothes stored in a closet under the stairs would sometimes be found scattered on the floor. The dial on their television would also reportedly turn by itself, though the channel would not change. Another family noted that they would keep the heat at 80 degrees, but one room in the basement would remain freezing cold. One family kept a bible open to a specific verse, and reportedly found it opened to a different verse each time they returned home. The new verse was allegedly the same one read at Hemp's funeral.
