The Owego Parkview Restaurant, part of the historic 1867 Parkview Inn, is considered haunted by visitors and is listed on the Haunted History Trail of New York State. Reported paranormal activity includes objects moving on their own, unexplained bells ringing, disembodied voices, ethereal figures, and a room with evidence of past fire damage, possibly linked to the ghost of a child who died in a fire. Guests and paranormal investigators have reported hearing unexplained bells ringing and voices. Objects have been seen to move in empty rooms. Some report seeing eyes in mirrors, while others have glimpsed the spirits of people, including a little girl who died in a fire. A room with evidence of fire damage from a past fire has been uncovered during renovations. The inn has a long history dating back to 1867. A little girl who perished in a fire at the inn is believed to be one of the spirits residing there. The inn's Irish immigrant manager, Hugh Dugan, died in 1885, which is also part of its history. The Parkview Inn has been a site for paranormal investigations.
