Miss Gail's Inn in Aztec, New Mexico, is reportedly haunted by the spirits of its former residents and staff, including Annabel and Percival, who are seen walking the halls, and a former cook named Bob, whose spirit still tends to the kitchen, causing unexplained noises like clattering pots and pans. Guests have also heard disembodied footsteps, seen lights turn on and off by themselves, and heard unexplained noises from the second-floor hallway. Annabel and Percival: These former residents are said to wander the halls of the inn, their spirits lingering in the place they loved. The spirit of a former cook named Bob is seen in the kitchen, moving cooking utensils and causing pots and pans to clatter, which has driven the current cook "crazy". Unseen children are reportedly heard running up and down the second-floor hallway. Their spirits are believed to have been brought to the inn along with the stones used to construct the building from an old school. Maids have reported hearing inexplicable knocks on walls and doors. Lights have been seen turning on and off on their own. Televisions have been observed working without explanation. Annabel's ghost is specifically seen in Room 226, which was once occupied by her grandson when he was managing the lodge. Another female ghost is said to reside in the basement, seen by the housekeeper while doing laundry.
