Westgate Hotel, Las Vegas
The Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino, formerly the International Hotel and Las Vegas Hilton, is considered haunted by the ghost of Elvis Presley, who performed thousands of shows there between 1969 and 1976. Guests and staff have reported seeing his image, hearing his music, and feeling his presence in various areas, including the upper-floor hallways, the International Theatre, and the Tuscany Villa where his suite was located. The hotel also experienced a deadly fire in 1981, and some guests have reported experiencing phantom figures and ghostly silhouettes, as well as strange occurrences in their rooms and on the elevators. Many guests and employees claim to feel or see Elvis, his image, and hear his music. Sightings and feelings have been reported in the hallways, on the casino floor, backstage at the theater, and in the Tuscany Villa. The large Imperial Suite on the 30th floor, later known as the Elvis suite, is a popular area for paranormal reports. Some visitors have reported strange things happening in their rooms, such as phones falling on their own or electrical equipment malfunctioning. The resort was home to Elvis's legendary 837 performances from 1969 to 1976. After his death in 1977, the stories of his ghostly presence began. In 1981, a devastating fire at the hotel, set by a busboy, claimed eight lives and injured many. This event is often linked to the reports of phantom figures and ghostly silhouettes.
