Bally's Las Vegas Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas
Bally's Las Vegas (now Horseshoe Las Vegas) is considered haunted due to the 1980 fire at the original MGM Grand hotel, which killed 87 people, many on the upper floors. Guests and employees have reported paranormal experiences, including apparitions of the blonde woman, disembodied feet, strange noises, unexplained cold spots, and the feeling of a heavy presence. The higher floors of the tower where the fire occurred are believed to have more intense paranormal activity. A common report is the appearance of a blonde woman on the 12th floor. A guest once called the front desk, hysterical after seeing a pair of floating, disembodied feet in their room. Some guests have seen figures appear and disappear in hallways, while others have noticed unusual shadows. Visitors have reported waking up with the sensation of someone lying on their chest or feeling a heavy presence. Stories include smoke detectors going off unexpectedly and furniture moving on its own.
