The Pink Rosebud Bed and Breakfast in Plattsburg, Missouri, an 1878 Victorian stone house, was reported to be one of the state's haunted locations before it permanently closed. According to paranormal websites, reports from the bed and breakfast included unexplained activity and sightings of several ghostly residents. The spirit of a cat was said to roam the property. The apparitions of an elderly couple were reportedly seen by guests and owners. Doors in the house would open and close on their own. In 2020, the YouTube channel Mindseed TV released footage of a paranormal investigation conducted at the Pink Rosebud. The building itself, a Victorian stone home, dates back to 1878, lending itself to the belief that it had collected supernatural energy over time. The bed and breakfast was restored, renovated, and reopened under new owners at some point before it closed permanently. The owners of the Pink Rosebud announced in late 2020 that the bed and breakfast had closed its doors.
