The Old Yarmouth Inn, dating back to 1696 and the oldest inn on Cape Cod, is widely believed to be haunted by a number of spirits. Reports of paranormal activity range from full-bodied apparitions to mysterious noises and moving objects. The jowly man: In 1999, a witness claimed to have seen an apparition of a man with jowls and a ruffled white blouse at the foot of their bed. Another witness in 2002 described a ghost sitting on their bed and shaking the bedposts.
