The Bayly Orem House, also known as the Josiah Bayly House, is reportedly haunted by the "floating ghost" of a Redcoat, which has been seen in various locations around the property, including windows, galleries, and even floating across the bay. The current owner has also reported experiencing paranormal phenomena, such as cold spots and rushes of air, alongside a feeling of a peaceful, benevolent presence. Folklore describes a spectral "Redcoat" being seen floating in the second-story windows, the upper gallery, and around the house itself. The Redcoat has also been reportedly seen floating across the Bay from Annapolis. The current owner has reported feeling a quiet, peaceful presence within the home.
