Marwood Mansion, once owned by the Gore family, is rumored to be haunted by its former butler, with alleged paranormal activity including self-flushing toilets, steam from bathtubs, and unexplained sounds in the basement. The stately home, located in Potomac, Maryland, was built on a 300-acre estate overlooking the Potomac River. An apparition of the family's butler is said to haunt the property. Strange sounds have been reported in the basement of the mansion.
