Club Charles in Baltimore's Station North Arts District is reportedly haunted by a ghost known as "Frenchie," a double agent during WWII who supposedly appears after hours to move bottles and glasses around the bar. Other anecdotal ghost stories are associated with the establishment. The Ghost: "Frenchie", he is said to have immigrated to Baltimore and worked as a waiter at Club Charles. During World War II, he allegedly worked as a double agent, posing as an informant for Nazi Germany while secretly aiding the Allies. Frenchie's appearances are typically described as occurring after the bar closes. He is said to cause subtle disturbances, such as shuffling bottles and glasses.
