The Biddeford City Theater is reportedly haunted by the ghost of Eva Gray, a singer who died backstage of heart failure on Halloween in 1904 after collapsing on stage. She is believed to be responsible for unexplained phenomena such as flickering lights, odd sounds, and the disorganization of costumes. There are also reports of a former caretaker, Mr. Murphy, whose presence has been felt through flickering lights and strange noises.
