Weaver Hotel, Waterville
The Weaver Hotel in Waterville, KS is described as haunted by at least two spirits: a former owner's wife and a workman who died by suicide. Reported paranormal activity includes objects moving on their own, such as keys flying or a Ouija board planchette moving, as well as apparitions of a figure in a dress and sounds when lights are off. The hotel, built in 1905, also has a history as a railroad accommodation. Guests have reported seeing a dark figure in a dress walking across the hallway or figures peeking from behind doors. Keys have been reported flying off a table, a blow dryer cord swaying, or cords being moved. A Ouija board planchette has also been seen trying to go off the board. Disembodied noises are heard when the lights are off, and some have experienced a slap on the calf. A phone has been thrown down, and a tub that was not holding water is another reported incident.
