Ghostly legends at the small, hidden cemetery within Indianapolis's Paul Ruster Park primarily focus on two stories: a boy who plays his harmonica and a vengeful witch said to have cursed the site. The boy with the harmonica: The ghost of a young boy, who was reportedly killed near the park's train tracks, is said to wander the paths around his gravesite. Visitors claim to hear the faint sound of a harmonica playing as they walk along the path to the cemetery. The witch and the German shepherd: According to this tale, a local woman who was also a practicing witch had her German shepherd dog cruelly killed by fraternity members. In revenge, she cursed the fraternity boys and the entire cemetery. An apparition of an old woman is seen roaming the grounds, with some speculating that it is the witch.
