Honolulu Airport, Hawaii
Honolulu International Airport is reputedly haunted by the "Lady in Waiting," a blonde woman in a white dress who appears at arrival gates and in restricted areas, searching for a fiancé who never returned. Her legend also includes reports of other spectral activity, such as unrolling toilet paper, slamming toilet seats, and ghostly passengers on the airport shuttle, sometimes causing feelings of choking. The Lady in Waiting: A fair-haired woman wearing a white dress. Most often seen at arrival gates and in restricted areas of the airport, looking out at the runway.
Origin: According to legend, she committed suicide after her fiancé promised to marry her but never returned from a flight, and she remains to this day, waiting for his arrival. Some people have claimed to see a ghostly passenger in the airport shuttle late at night. There are accounts of individuals feeling like something is sitting on their chests and trying to choke them, which is sometimes attributed to airport phantoms. The "Lady in Waiting" is also reported to roam hallways and bathrooms at the airport.
