The studio has even been featured on TV's Ghost Hunters, and a nearby alley is known as "Haunted Alleyway". An apparition of a man in a top hat and coat has been seen on the roof of the studio. A woman's spectral form has been seen walking through a door. The studio was built in 1917 by silent film icon Charlie Chaplin.
