The Jim Henson Studios building, originally Charlie Chaplin's studio, is rumored to be haunted, with reports including sightings of a man in a top hat on the roof, a ghostly figure with a handlebar mustache on the soundstage, whispers and Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP) captured on the soundstage catwalk, and a woman's form seen walking through a door. The studio has even been featured on TV's Ghost Hunters, and a nearby alley is known as "Haunted Alleyway". An apparition of a man in a top hat and coat has been seen on the roof of the studio. A short, dark-skinned man with a handlebar mustache has been reportedly seen on the soundstage. The Ghost Hunters TV crew captured EVP and whispers on the soundstage's catwalk. A woman's spectral form has been seen walking through a door. The studio was built in 1917 by silent film icon Charlie Chaplin.
