The Wendy Williamson Auditorium at the University of Alaska Anchorage is reportedly haunted by several spirits, including an aggressive ghost that targets women. The auditorium has been the subject of ghost tours and paranormal investigations. A malevolent spirit in the building is said to push women with long, dark hair down the auditorium stairs. A paranormal tour guide said that a male spirit has also been heard growling in the basement. During a paranormal investigation, crews discovered a hidden, walled-up room in the building that was fully equipped with electricity and lighting. No one in the building was previously aware of the room's existence. The auditorium is also known for other unexplained phenomena, such as a crack that mysteriously appeared in a wall after the 2018 earthquake. Paranormal tours have explored other alleged ghost activity within the building.
