Rocky Mount is a historic property in Prattville, Alabama, at 2364 Rocky Mount Road, that is rumored to be haunted by the ghost of the owner's great-aunt, Mae. Visitors and staff have reported paranormal activity including music playing by itself, particularly piano music, which is said to be Mae, who loved music and would play the piano and arrange flowers for events. The haunting is attributed to Mae, the great-aunt of a former owner. A CD player has been known to turn on by itself and play piano music. It's suggested Mae would help with wedding preparations by cutting and arranging flowers. Rocky Mount was built in 1891 and expanded in 1908. It once operated as a bed and breakfast but now hosts weddings and other events.
